Gambia-Saudi bilateral negotiations for youth employment agreed

Plans to export Gambian Youths to the profiting job market at the Holy Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been hatched, as part of a cooperation agreement currently under negotiation in Riyadh, between the Gambia Government and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Gambian delegation headed by Tourism and Culture Minister – Hon. Amat Bah, meet the eldest Prince of Saudi – His Royal Highness, Prince Sultan Bin Salaman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud who doubles as Head of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, at Riyadh.

Their engagement touched on matters meant to boost the already cordial bilateral relations between Banjul and Riyadh: as well as finalize the Memorandum of Understanding on Tourism cooperation that includes; the sending of over one thousand Gambian youths with skills and expertise to the Holy Kingdom for better job opportunities and privileges without being exploited.
