Abubakar is the administrative manager and head of administration at GRTS. He earned a B.Sc. in Political Science and an M.A. (Merit) in Human Resource Management; and he currently presents the news in English and the flagship islamic programme IQRA.
Abubakar has been at GRTS since 2008 rising from an exuberant frontline reporter to an accomplish presenter travelling around the world with the president to report on international conferences.

Isatou Keita is a news reporter and producer of Mengketa a weekly Mandinka magazine and host of Expedition Gambia – which is a weekly travel and tourism show that seeks to promote the development of tourism and culture in the Gambia. Isatou is second year student at the Univeristy of The Gambia, School of Journalism.

Winifred Nicol is a reporter and presenter at the Gambia Radio and Television Services. She is a presenter of the newly introduced News Day and evening News bulletins. Winnie has been working with GRTS since 2013.

Ebrima Baldeh has been working as a journalist since July 1999 after the completion of secondary education. He began his career at the now defunct Gambia Daily newspaper, renamed Gambia Now, state-owned newspaper. After a five year stint as a freelance and staff reporter, he left the print media in December 2004, for a place at the Gambia Radio & Television Services and rose through the ranks and is now the managing editor, at the news and current affairs department. He also anchors the popular Weekend Spectrum show on GRTS TV, a program that airs every Saturday 8:30PM local time. Baldeh holds a Bachelor’s degree in history at the University of the Gambia, a diploma in development journalism at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, diploma in mass communication at Straford College of Management.

Awa Gai has been with GRTS-TV for more than five years as producer and presenter of the KIDS show, the program features children and their creative talents in schools. She also a co-presenter of the popular weekly early morning Breakfast show.

Born in rural Gambia, Momodou Jallow graduated from Kotu Senior Secondary School before enrolling at The Gambia College for his Higher Teacher’s Certificate HTC with major in English Language. After a two year teaching stint, Momodou went to the University of The Gambia in 2007 where he graduated with a BSc in Political Science. In 2008, Momodou got employed at GRTS as a news producer and reporter. Over time he has distinguished himself as a dedicated, hardworking, creative and self-motivated reporter who has travelled the length and breadth of the Gambia covering everything for news on TV. He has also travelled with the President and Vice President to many countries around the world covering conferences and summits. Momodou is a very experienced journalist who is passionate about his job. He is married with a daughter.

Aja Mariama Ndiaye
Aja Mariam Ndiaye is a Producer and Host of French News on GRTS-TV, a weekly bulletin French language news and current affairs program. She also appears in Breakfast Show and Sunu Wirr Guyaram programs as a guest co-presenter. Aja Mariama has been working with the Gambia Radio and Television Services since 2013.
